Challenge 25 & Alcohol Service Compliance Training

๐Ÿ“š Training Lecture

UK Alcohol Law: It is a criminal offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, or to someone who is already clearly drunk. Staff who break the law can face fines, dismissal, and legal action. As bar professionals, it is our duty to protect the safety of all guests and ensure full legal compliance.

Challenge 25: If a customer looks under 25, you must ask for valid photo ID. Acceptable ID includes: UK driving licence, passport, or a PASS hologram card. If they do not provide valid ID, you must not serve them alcohol.

Drunkenness: Serving someone who is clearly intoxicated is illegal. This includes guests who are loud, staggering, incoherent, or slurring. In these cases, you must refuse service and alert your supervisor. You are legally responsible for the alcohol you serve.
